Our dealer development team reviews your application. For Bay Area applicants, we conduct an on-site visit. Remote applicants submit a virtual tour.
Step 3: Agreement & Setup
Sign the authorized dealer agreement, set up your wholesale account, and configure drop-ship or direct delivery preferences.
Step 4: Launch
Attend new dealer orientation (virtual or in-person), receive initial inventory, and go live with co-branded marketing support.
Dealer FAQ
What brands can I sell as an authorized dealer? All four: Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, and Honda. You can carry the full line or focus on specific brands based on your market.
Is there an exclusive territory? Yes. Authorized and Preferred dealers receive a protected radius (typically 25–50 miles, depending on market density). Platinum partners receive regional exclusivity.
Do I need a physical storefront? For Authorized tier, yes — a retail or service facility is required. For online-only dealers, we offer a special Digital Dealer tier with modified requirements.
What are the annual purchase minimums?
Can I sell online? Yes, with restrictions. Online dealers must maintain MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) and cannot sell below our floor prices. Violations result in tier demotion or termination.
What support do you offer for warranty claims? We process warranty claims on your behalf with the manufacturers. You handle the customer; we handle the paperwork and reimbursement.
Do you offer floor plan financing? Yes, through Sheffield Financial and Yamaha Financial Services. 0% for 90–180 days on qualifying inventory.
Can I return unsold inventory? Current-model-year motors can be returned within 12 months (restocking fee applies). Parts are non-returnable unless defective.
What happens if I don’t meet my annual minimum? We work with you to identify the issue. One year below minimum triggers a review; two consecutive years may result in tier downgrade or non-renewal.
Do you work with international dealers? Yes. We have active dealer programs in Mexico, Canada, and select Pacific markets. International dealers must handle import documentation and customs clearance.
